1. Who we are
This website, latitudespace.com, is owned and operated by Latitude Space Digital Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission under RC 1277810, trading as Latitude Space Africa.
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Latitude Space Digital Ltd. “You” means anyone who visits this website or contacts us through it.
For the purposes of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where it applies, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use latitudespace.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it.
What this policy does not cover. We are a documentary production company. When we film people as part of a production, whether they are programme participants, interviewees, staff or members of the public, their personal data is handled under a separate process governed by our production consent procedures, our client’s own data protection requirements, and the Dóchas Code of Conduct on Images and Messages. Filming consent is not covered by this website policy. If you have taken part in one of our productions and have a question about your footage, images or personal data, contact us at info@latitudespace.com and we will direct your request to the right project.
3. The personal data we collect
3.1 Information you give us
Enquiry and contact forms. When you send us an enquiry through the website — including through a “Book a discovery call” button, which opens the same enquiry form — we collect your name, email address, organisation, what you need, any date or deadline you tell us about, and the content of your message.
Capability statement download. When you request our capability statement, we collect your name, organisation, role and email address.
Direct correspondence. If you email, call or message us, we hold the content of that correspondence and any contact details it contains.
3.2 Information we collect automatically
Analytics. We do not currently use website analytics or visitor-tracking tools. If we introduce one in future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting any related cookies.
Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard technical information including IP addresses, request times and error records, for security and reliability purposes.
Cookies and similar technologies. See section 5.
3.3 What we do not collect
We do not sell products through this website and we do not collect payment card details, bank details or financial information through it. We do not knowingly collect data from children. We do not ask for and do not want you to send us sensitive personal information, such as health data or information about vulnerable individuals, through our website forms. If your enquiry concerns a programme involving sensitive material, please tell us that you have such material rather than sending it, and we will arrange a secure channel.
4. Why we use your data, and our lawful basis

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small files placed on your device when you visit a website.
Strictly necessary cookies. These make the site work: page delivery, security, keeping our team logged in to our content admin area, and remembering your cookie choices. They cannot be switched off.
Analytics cookies. We do not currently use analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this section and ask for consent first where the law requires it.
Third-party embeds. Video players embedded on our site, for our showreel and case studies, may set their own cookies when a video is played.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the site from working properly.
6. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only where we need to, and only with organisations that are required to protect it. These are:
- Vercel, our website hosting provider, which runs the site and its database
- Resend, which sends the automated email notification when you submit a form on the site
- Hostinger, which hosts our company email mailboxes
- Our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary
- A regulator, court or public authority, where we are legally required to disclose information
Where we work on a project for you, information you give us may be shared with members of our production team and specialist freelancers assigned to that project. They are bound by confidentiality obligations.
We do not disclose your enquiry, your organisation’s name or the details of your project to anyone outside our team without your agreement, other than as set out above.
7. International transfers
We are based in Nigeria. Some of the service providers listed in section 6 store or process data outside Nigeria, including in the United States and the European Union.
Where personal data leaves Nigeria, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Where personal data covered by the GDPR is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place, which are typically the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

8. How long we keep your data

We review what we hold periodically and delete what we no longer need.
9. How we protect your data
We use access controls, reputable service providers, and encrypted connections for the website. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people in our team who need it.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us over the internet. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the Nigeria Data Protection Commission and, where required, you, within the timeframes the law sets.
10. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how we use your data, which is what this policy is for
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data deleted, where we have no continuing lawful reason to keep it
- Restrict how we use your data while a concern is being resolved
- Object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interest, including any direct marketing
- Receive your data in a portable format, where the GDPR applies
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it
- Not be subject to automated decision-making that has a significant effect on you. We do not carry out any such automated decision-making.
To exercise any of these, email info@latitudespace.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose someone else’s data to the wrong person. Exercising these rights is free of charge.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first at info@latitudespace.com so that we can try to put it right.
You also have the right to complain to a regulator:
- In Nigeria: the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), ndpc.gov.ng
- In the European Union or the United Kingdom: your national data protection supervisory authority
12. Children
This website is intended for professional and business audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 through this site. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at info@latitudespace.com and we will delete it.
13. Links to other websites
Our website links to other websites, including client sites, funders, directory listings and video platforms. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their privacy policies before giving them your information.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the effective date at the top tells you when it last changed. If we make a significant change to how we use your data, we will make that clear on the website.
