For better Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams calls, do these 4 things.
1. Light- Set up your office space with good lighting. Your best source of light is the sun light coming through the window. Set up your office table to face the light, dont back it.
If your call is happening in the night. Get a good light source for your face. Examples are room light bulbs, table lamps etc.
2. Angle- Elevate your webcam or phone to your eye level. Looking down into a camera is not a good angle. If you have big nose like mine 😆, the camera will exaggerate your nose. that’s not pleasing to look at.
3. Background – Pay attention to your background. Your background is as important as your face. Clear out the clutter in your background.
4. Audio – For better audio quality, use good quality earphone. Avoid noisy areas. Don’t join a video call in a restaurant or a bar with loud music play.
